about

In early 2011, three dudes in their early 20s started writing catchy, fast, loud music together. Jared, Anthony, and Jake spent the summer sweating out tunes in an attic on the south side of Bloomington, Indiana.
Sick of being landlocked in a scene full of preachy posturing and irony, Wringer is breaking out with wits and sincerity. They want to wake up the neighbors and then eat pizza with them.

Track Name: Train Wreck
It's about time to go to work now
Get a real life, don’t wanna sleep right through
There’s no looking back, you can’t slow down
You’ve got to find yourself a reason

Barreling fast towards disaster
Questioning everything you ever knew
It’s about time to lay the track down now
Before somebody does it for you
Fuck the world, we're coming through

Keep that flame inside you burning

If you don't know why you're here
If you don't know why you struggle just to keep your feet on the ground
You better look inside yourself

Say goodbye, I'm not returning
(Keep that flame inside you burning)
Til the wheels fall off, I’ll be searching
(Keep that flame inside you burning)
I'll keep this flame inside me burning
Track Name: Bear Patrol
above this city... i’m never coming down
score some blow and jagerbomb this stupid town
she looks so pretty all passed out on the ground
i want it all, i want it now, don’t matter how

remember who this world belongs to
forever looking down upon you

we live above this city

it’s time to party!!! you know i’m always down
score some blow and jagerbomb this stupid town

remember who this world belongs to
forever looking down upon you

we live above this city
Track Name: Popewad
the earth will always spin
even without your highness
faith can never mend the stubborn, the brash, and the dull

scream “cheat” when you’re unhappy with the hand that you were dealt
so deal me out
my empathy will drown in the “whine” that you spill
don’t drag me down

curse your only friend
that bitter paranoia’s sinking in again
martyr of the miserable

scream “cheat” when you’re unhappy with the hand that you were dealt
so deal me out
my empathy will drown in the “whine” you spill
don’t drag me down

how long til you blow?
how far will you go?
don’t drag me!
Track Name: Such A Splinter
you fake it and you take it in, but it’s all wrong
the man they want you to be, red-blooded and strong
bottle it up, don’t fuck it up, toughen up now
content them and resent them, they must be so proud

i wonder, i wonder
we’re taking the heat cuz we gotta
we’re bastards
a shattered mirror-image of our fathers
so why bother?

we’re idolized, objectified like caged animals
growl at the men, howl at the moon, pray to angels
no self-respect and i am left second-guessing
there’s not a whole lot in this life worth possessing

i wonder, i wonder
we’re taking the heat cuz we gotta
we’re bastards
a shattered mirror-image of our fathers
so why bother?

it’s the insecurity of men that drives the demons in our heads
we’re too fucked up to understand or confront the way we’re born and bred
Track Name: Five & Dime
Balance disrupted
Curse you all, the warnings all have been sent
The deafening sound grew with every cent and dollar you spent
I'm grinding my teeth to get that bitter taste off my tongue
I wheeze when I breathe in hopes you'll see the fumes from my lungs

Draining life out

The system reeks death
Bigger dreams mean jack-shit paid in return
Your every short breath turns the tables, churns the internal burn
I'm shaking my head from years of plain ignoring the signs
I'm nodding instead to take that first step helping our kind

Draining life out

I'll live on without you
The damaging plots aren't subdued
Take it in, let it die
And kiss all this goodbye

Draining life out
